BiharonWeb: 17 Nov, 2017, In the 'arrow' election symbol case finally led to the JDU headed by Nitish Kumar. Election Commission has decided to give Janata Dal United (JDU) election symbol 'Arrow' to Nitish Kumar's group. After the removal of Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar from the party, Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar Group claimed in the Election Commission the marks of the GDU election symbol arrow.

The Election Commission has said that Nitish has good support for the MLAs. Simultaneously, the Election Commission has dismissed the petition of Chhotu Bhai Amar Singh Vasava, who has been telling the real JDU to his group. Sharad Yadav camp had appointed Chhotu Bhai Vasawa, the MLA from Gujarat, as the executive president of the party. At the same time, the Election Commission has given its decision on this today that the election symbol of the arrow will remain with the Nitish Kumar-led group. This decision of the Election Commission has got disappointing Sharad Yadav camp.

Let us tell you that both Nitish Kumar group and Sharad Yadav group had once again filed an appeal in the Election Commission and had filed their claim on the arrow mark. On Monday, in the office of the Election Commission in Delhi, both the leaders and lawyers of the factions held their own plea before the Election Commission, but the EC did not take any decision.

Earlier, after the fall of the government of the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar and Nitish Kumar's return to the NDA, Sharad Yadav had adopted a rebel against the party and had claimed his claim on the JDU. Even before this, the Sharad Yadav faction had approached the Election Commission and sought the recognition of its campus as a real JDU, but the EC had turned down its demand. The EC had upheld the Nitish Kumar group as the real JDU at that time.

It is noteworthy that after adopting the rebel wave of Sharad Yadav, JDU has met Rajya Sabha Speaker Venkaiah Naidu and demanded the termination of Sharad Yadav's Rajya Sabha membership, which is yet to be decided.
